Welcome to My Pinky Toes!  My name is Angela and I am twenty-six years old.  People think that I am a quiet person, and that can be true, but that doesn’t mean I don’t have something to say!  My blog is about my journey to love myself and try to lead a happy and healthy life, and HOPEFULLY inspire you to do the same!  Where does the name “My Pinky Toes” come from? Well, it’s kind of a long story, but you can read all about it!

I live in Missouri with my totally handsome husband, Matt, and my sweet and precious little baby (doggie) Tia.  I am beyond blessed to have the most loving and caring family in the whole universe!

I have always wanted to be Miss America…or Miss USA, or Miss Universe, or at least Miss Missouri…but I never even entered a pageant, lol!  But I always knew what my cause would be (no, not world peace, although that would be nice).  My purpose would be to advocate for eating disorder awareness and to try to promote a positive body image in the lives of women (and men) everywhere.  These are both issues that I have struggled with in my life.  I am a strong believer in that God has a good purpose for everything, so I am on a mission to use my personal experiences to help others.  So, while I won’t be doing this through the Miss America pageant, at least I can blog about it (and hope my voice is heard!)

Currently I am back in school and I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. However, my first degree was in graphic design.  It was a very hard decision for me to go back to school, but again, I felt this need to help others.  I still do graphic design work from my home through my own design company that I started, angheartsdesign.  I love love love to do art, but I am also loving being back in school and studying nursing!
